Responsibilities:

  • Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting
  • Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period
  • Assist with financial and management reporting, planning and analysis, metrics, monitoring and forecasting
  • Document and establish business requirement documents, review test scripts, and interact with business partners to ensure successful migrations of key technology releases
  • Identify and resolve problems using basic Finance knowledge, escalating as needed
  • Assist with the implement work flow or process change and redesign
  • Assist in the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products
  • Execute processes and procedures within defined parameters
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of previous experience required
  • Structured Query Language (SQL) and/or Statistical Analysis System (SAS) experience preferred
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience


This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

The analyst manages end-to-end charge-out responsibilities for Corporate and Other L3 segments, ensuring Actuals align with Plan/Outlook.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with service providers to support the managed segments, including but not limited to:

• Oversee the monthly billing process (managed from Mumbai), including internal allocations to Citi customers.

• Monitor global charge-outs to ensure bill-to-plan compliance, identify material variances between Actuals and Plan/Outlook, and ensure they are properly addressed and documented.

• Maintain an updated forecast based on changes to Plan/Outlook.

• Conduct quarterly reviews of charge-outs at the legal vehicle level to ensure service providers are appropriately reimbursed for their expenses.

• Validate monthly cash through system reconciliations and detailed analysis.

• Assist in preparing the annual Charge Outs Plan for consumption-based service providers.

• Validate methodologies for charge-outs based on FP&A guidance.

• Understand business drivers of expenses to provide insightful financial analysis.

• Support FP&A in forecasting during Plan, Outlook, and Functional cycles.

• Perform ad-hoc analysis for various segments, geographies, and legal entities.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and data quality.

• Maintain strong controls over process execution and record management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance.

• Proficiency in English (90% or higher).

• Intermediate to advanced PC skills (Excel, MS Office, databases, Power BI / Tableau preferred).

• Experience with IFW (Pearl, APIS, FRM) preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Proficient in financial analysis.

• Ability to anticipate and address issues, ensuring smooth processes.
