• Prototype and test (train/finetune/inference) ML/LLM solutions in real-world scenarios to validate their effectiveness.
• Prepare detailed POC documentation, including system design, testing protocols, and performance metrics.
• Present POC results to customers and stakeholders, highlighting the value and capabilities of the Cisco compute products.
• Gather feedback from POC testing to iterate and improve the customer experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI research, tools, and best practices to ensure cutting-edge POC development.
• Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, assisting in the technical qualification of sales opportunities.
Who are we looking for:
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
•. 2-5 years experience in developing scalable machine learning/LLM/Generative AI solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience in AI/ML and associated frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX).
• Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Skilled in software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), testing methodologies, and code optimization techniques.
• Experience with Linux operating system and associated development tools/utilities.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex AI concepts.
• Demonstrated expertise through published GitHub repositories and code examples.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Desirable Skills:
• Familiarity with NCCL (NVIDIA Collective Communication Library) for optimized distributed computing, HPC experience with MPI or Slurm.
• Understanding of distributed training and inferencing techniques.
• Basic understanding of operating systems and networking concepts.
