Your key responsibilities

:

  • Ensuring the implementation and execution of planned outcomes and deliverables from the GTEC and GTLG meetings
  • Collaborating effectively with all Global Tax Functions, such as Finance, Markets, Knowledge, Talent, BMC and other Business Enablement functions
  • Maintaining consistency of organizational and governance structures across Tax
  • Providing oversight and direction to Sub-Service Line Directors of Operations
  • Monitoring of development and implementation of projects to specified KPIs and objectives
  • Leading the Global Tax Executive Committee meetings to ensure there is consistency of operational process and protocols and the sharing of best practices
  • Supporting the development and running of the annual GTLG meeting
  • Building “executive ready” deliverables and communications, and executing against time-sensitive requests from the VC and DVC
  • A degree of global travel will be required to attend GTEC meetings and other key Global Tax events

The position holder will perform other responsibilities and tasks as required to achieve the agreed performance outcomes.



To qualify for the role you must have

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 12+ years of related work experience (preferably some within Tax)
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of EY’s Global organization, strategy and culture
  • Deep understanding of Tax, SSLs, Areas, growth drivers, sectors and solutions
  • In depth awareness of key market and economic issues / trends that could impact the Service Line
  • Ability to coordinate and manage a majority of projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Pragmatism to drive outcomes that are both financially sound and operationally feasible
  • Highly seasoned project management skills and experience

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Certification in Project Management
  • Excellent PowerPoint, Word and other technologies – certification preferred
  • Strong executive facilitation skills and experience related to strategy development and problem solving
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills (including presentations), as well as listening and interpretation skills
  • Excellent people management skills, with an intense focus on the firm’s culture and values
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity
  • High technology skills – ability to do advanced power points and other highly interactive technology skills
  • High standard of spoken and written English language

What we offer
The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary range/sWe offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $178,600 to $353,600. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $214,300 to $401,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
