Responsibilities:

  • Develop, scope and implement contact strategies including both phone and digital channels for Cards Recovery
  • Identify best practices to improve customer experience and engagement through digital channels and recommend implementation for optimal results
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to determine treatment strategies, digital channel optimization, segmentation, offers and programs, portfolio monitoring and controls
  • Hypothesis development, test design, test vs. control analysis, development of recommendations, and oversight of implementation
  • Measure and report performance of new strategies in a test vs control environment
  • Utilize SAS, SQL and decision tree to complete analysis for new strategy testing
  • Conduct P&L analysis to estimate financial benefits and costs
  • Assure regulatory and policy compliance through validations, effective controls, testing and maintain strategy documentation for internal control teams
  • Collaborate with Operations, Technology, and Risk team to implement and assess proposed projects
  • Primary focus on Cards Recovery contact strategy
  • Manage 3rd party exposure and key money policy (as applicable), ensuring controllable exposure according to risk appetite
  • Work together with counterparts from Business, Sales, Dialer, Operations & Technology to ensure correct policy implementation at an operational level
  • Interact with regional counterparts for policy approval and adherence to Global/Regional Policy requirement
  • Provide analytics at portfolio and segment levels for the purpose of monitoring, making policy adjustments, provide strategy recommendations with the ultimate goal of optimizing risk
  • Work together with the Risk MIS team, in charge of Credit Risk Reporting and Portfolio Quality Review Reporting, as well as facilitating ad-hoc reporting as needed
  • Responsible for reporting and accuracy of critical portfolio data returns to the Bank's key regulators
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of total experience
  • 5 years experience in Statistics/Analytics/Decision Management will be desirable
  • 2 - 4 years experience in Recovery collections preferred
  • Strong experience using SAS, SQL and CHAID segmentation software to analyze and solve business problems
  • Prior digital marketing experience is highly preferred
  • Highly ethical and with integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Effective listening skills
  • Candidates must have effective negotiation skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating Risk issues, strength in sustaining autonomous views
  • Able to work across levels in risk management and also with other operations and business teams
  • Excellent Presentation skills – adept at presenting effectively to audiences of various sizes and adapting style as necessary
  • Able to identify and influence key decision makers across various levels and functions within the organization
  • Able to work in a rapidly changing external environment and support business in a highly competitive and challenging market
  • The successful candidate will have demonstrable analytic and project management skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
