Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop concepts and accordingly construct prototypes/products from concepts.
  • Utilize basic mechanical drawing or CAD software to document prototypes and fixtures.
  • Explore and propose creative solutions based on solid rationales and contribute to design and process concepts.
  • Organize, coordinate, and execute building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions.
  • Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
  • Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services.
  • Act as a resource to other employees.
  • Communicate project status to project teams.

Required qualifications:

  • 3 Years with Associate in Arts degree/diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
  • Experience with GDP.
  • Experience testing and collecting data.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and document management systems/quality systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electronics background with software/hardware experience
  • Hands-on failure analysis and root cause investigation experience.
  • Experience building prototypes and fixtures
  • Setup multimeter: to measure volts, current, pn junction, continuity test, resistance.
  • Setup oscilloscope to measure DC/AC voltage, frequency, time,
  • Setup Current probes, AC/DC clamps
  • Ability to read schematics, mechanical drawings, block diagrams, Fault Tree Diagrams,
  • Comfortable to with computer-controlled systems
  • Comfortable with electro-mechanical systems
  • Comfortable with Labview

Compensation fornon-exempt (hourly), non-sales rolesmay also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
