Responsibilities:

• Design, development, and delivery of Java based applications.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
• Investigating, debugging, and resolving technical problems that arise
• Contribution to existing applications systems analysis and programming activities.
• Required skills and Experience.
• At least 4+ years hands on experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Object-oriented Programming concepts and principles.
• Hands on experience in Java Spring Boot development, Rest web services
• Very good logical thinking and quick at learning and exploring new frameworks.
• Good to have experience on Kafka, Oracle, KDB, Chronicle etc.
• Good to have experience on Teamcity, Jenkins, Udeploy, BitBucket, Jira and eclipse etc.
• Technical Skills / Knowledge –
• Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Rest web services, Kafka
• Java 1.8 or greater
• Build Tool: Maven, Gradle
• Must be able to work independently also have ability to collaborate and work effectively with local and global team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Qualifications:
• 4+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
• Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
