Honeywell Intelligrated Application Engineer will work with experienced software engineers to learn, understand, and implement complex automated control systems. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of engineering projects. This is a position where the engineer is expected to show both technical and management abilities in everyday activities.
Technical contribution
- Work with experienced software engineers to conceptualize, design, engineer, and execute industry leading projects from start to finish.
- Develop complete and concise system Description of Operation (DOO), test plans and user guides.
Interface with industry leading customers. - Build and integrate softwarefeatures, architecture and codes in collaboration with software engineering specialists using programming languages (C#, C++, SQL).
- Deliver successful material handling solutions to the customer by developing and implementing detailed commissioning plans.
Planning and control. - Maintains and tracks issues list, reporting to Supervisor / Manager as required.
- Delivers in-house assignments as per the agreed timeline, and set quality standards.
- Provides site/field reports daily, including progress, issues, and next steps, as requested.
Processes and tools
- Supports continuous improvement of project process/product/ system design by collaborating and retrospective events.
- Ensures accurate application and implementation of standard processes and tools. Uses standard processes and procedures to ensure all commissioning activities comply with the required safety regulations and satisfy contractual requirements.
- Reports processes and tools inefficiencies and suggests improvements ideas.
- Identifies potential Hazards and reports to Site management.
Customer
- Interacts with customer and support them on request.
Experience
- 1-3 years of industrial experience

- Programming languages (C#, C++, C, Java)
- Industrial Networks and Comm. Protocols
- Software architecture and coding
- Collaboration & Teamwork
- English proficiency
- Willingness to travel 80%, work nights and/or weekends.

- Ability to code in multiple languages.
- Basic Fieldbus knowledge (Profibus, EthernetIP, ControlNet etc.).
- SQL experience.
