To be successful, you will need to understand the dynamic between ad supply and demand in streaming TV, to have a keen eye for financials, to be able to write clear, compelling business narratives, and to be able to work cross-functionally with business and tech. You will have relevant work experience within the Consumer Tech, Ad Sales or Ad Tech industry in roles such as business planning, commercial leadership, category management or product management. Experience within ad sales or an advertising-driven business in Japan is a plus. Comfortable in spoken Japanese is a plus. You will have experience in defining the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for a business or suite of products, as well as experience in writing business or product proposals, defining business requirements and working with engineering teams to launch new features.This is an individual contributor role, but has scope for future development into a people manager role.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience within the Consumer Tech, Ad Sales or Ad Tech industry in roles such as business planning, commercial leadership, category management or product management
- Fluent in spoken and written English, able to communicate complex issues in a simple manner with clear logic and influence others internally and externally
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing or similar
