Purpose Statement

In a fast-changing technology landscape, theSupply Chain Solutions Architect Manager, APACwill be responsible for the identification and implementation of innovative digital solutions that align with and enhance the APAC Supply Chain strategy. Leveraging a deep understanding of various technologies, and in collaboration with stakeholders and vendors, this position seeks to deliver high-quality solutions that not only address current challenges but also anticipate future needs, ultimately driving value and competitive advantage for the organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the organisation’s existing IT infrastructure and through an understanding of the evolving technology landscape, proactively identify digital solutions and technologies that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and agility of the APAC Supply Chain, aligning with the organisation’s strategic goals
  • Partnering with Global, Regional and Country stakeholders, including Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Product Owners and the IT team, lead the development, customisation and implementation of digital solutions, in alignment with the APAC Supply Chain strategy
  • Establish and evaluate relationships with external vendors, partners and technology providers to leverage their expertise, products and services in delivering innovative solutions that meet the organisation’s needs; Drives vendors in delivery against key project milestones
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with implementing and sustaining solutions, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize disruptions to operations
  • Reflect a comprehensive understanding of users’ requirements and pain points in solutions proposed and implemented, in support of change management to ensure smooth adoption and integration of new digital solutions within APAC Supply Chain
  • Ensure that all digital solutions meet high standards of quality, reliability, scalability and security, driving testing, validation and user acceptance processes before deployment. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of implemented solutions, monitoring and continuously optimising their performance over time

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related area, with a strong understanding of Supply Chain and Operations processes
  • 10+ years of technical delivery experience with regional projects over USD1M, preferably in the Supply Chain / Operations space
  • Well-versed and curious about digital technologies, with the ability to stay abreast of emerging trends; Ability to translate business strategy into IT initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully plan and deliver concurrent IT projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complicated processes and requirements, and to effectively prioritise critical issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with matrix teams across geographies and to manage contractors / vendors
  • Fluency in English
  • Some travel will be required
