Role Overview:
You will be laboratory based and responsible for designing, conducting, and analysing in vitro experiments to assess the function of our pre-candidate molecules. Your research will also help dissect the mechanism of action of these novel therapeutics. You will regularly present your research findings in small team meetings, wider-group discussions and to cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Proactively drive antibody projects from the laboratory.
- Design, plan and execute experiments and analyse data independently, demonstrating scientific rigor and critical thinking skills.
- Work flexibly across project teams to ensure delivery of results against expected timelines.
- Report and disseminate data to project teams.
- Present experimental data at cross-functional meetings.
Required Experience:
- PhD in Biochemistry / Immunology / Neuroscience / Molecular Biology (or related field), or a M.Sc. and a minimum of 5+ years industry experience, or a B.Sc. with 8+ years of industry experience.
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset with ability to work and share knowledge across disciplines and departments.
Preferred experience:
Working knowledge in some of the following areas:
- molecular biology (e.g. PCR, cloning and mutagenesis)
- antibody structure/function (therapeutic or tool reagent generation)
- protein expression and purification (e.g. AKTA)
- protein characterization (LC/MS, SPR)
- developing functional cell-based screens and/or biomarker assays
- stable (reporter) cell line generation and characterisation
- primary cell isolation and culture
- protein detection (ELISA and Luminex)
- high-dimensional flow cytometry and FACS-based immunophenotyping (both panel design and downstream data analysis)
- protein design/engineering (structure-based, AI-guided)
- operating automation (e.g. liquid handling)
