Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in the realm of large-scale data processing infrastructure, showcasing a robust understanding of the complexities associated with such environments.
  • Familiarity with a diverse set of technologies, including but not limited to Spark, Flink, Trino, Kafka, Iceberg, in the big data ecosystem.
  • Strong hand-on programming skills, particularly in Java or other JVM languages, showcasing the ability to develop robust, scalable, and maintainable codebases for intricate data infrastructure.
  • A strong sense of ownership and an unwavering commitment to excellence in all aspects of work.
  • A customer-focused approach, combined with excellent listening skills and a deep understanding of user requirements. Be adept at translating user needs into actionable solutions and acting as a subject matter expert in customer discussions.
  • Exhibit proficiency in scoping and prioritizing tasks with a focus on incremental delivery and an iterative approach, ensuring adaptability to evolving project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with public cloud systems, particularly in AWS or GCP environments, is a great plus.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes is a significant plus.
  • Proactive engagement with open-source community, aligning business objectives with the principles of collaborative development and innovation.
  • (Nice to have) Experience with GPU / training / LLM / Inferencing
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
