Job Description

• Citi Ventures contribute deep domain expertise, insights, and access to its unique network; and help accelerate the adoption and commercialization of new technologies and business models both within Citi and for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Quarterly Performance Review / Quarterly Impairment Review for Citi Ventures, Citi Impact Fund and Citi Institutional Strategic Investments: develop presentation materials highlighting key investment information/metrics to support leadership decision making
• Provide regular highlights of portfolios, partnering with Investing teams and key stakeholders to track investment performance, and memorialize key updates
• Assist in the evaluation of potential new investments, with a focus on financial and strategic fit.
• Lead in managing Citi Ventures’ financial forecasting and strategic planning; prepare monthly/quarterly review package with trends and variance analysis; monitor project expenses and operating costs
• Review of current processes and forecast models to identify opportunities for automation.
• Provide ad hoc data and analytics to support Citi Ventures/Citi Impact Fund/ Citi Institutional Strategic Investments leadership decision making, including strategic initiatives (e.g.: reorganization, divestitures, etc.)
• Manage relationships with third party vendors in support of Citi Ventures/Citi Impact Fund
• Acts as Subject Matter Expert on finance and innovation topics, to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Qualifications:
• >5 years of relevant finance experience
• Passionate about innovation topics
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and assist with decision making.
• Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated presentation skills.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
