Executive Communications:
Support communications for leaders within our Large Enterprise and SMB businesses, developing and executing communication strategies that align with leadership vision and business objectives
Craft talking points, presentations, and messaging for internal and external engagements, ensuring consistency and alignment with PayPal’s broader company strategy
Develop an impactful external communication strategy to increase visibility and elevate PayPal’s reputation as a thought leader on key trends impacting merchants in today’s highly competitive environment
Help curate and manage executive social media strategies, including LinkedIn, to effectively engage with target audiences, raise leadership visibility, and position PayPal as a leader in commerce
External Storytelling:
Lead external communication strategies that showcase the company's merchant/B2B story to media, customers, industry influencers, and the broader public
Coordinate thought leadership initiatives to promote PayPal’s merchant offerings, B2B innovation, and talent by positioning PayPal within key B2B trends, industry insights, and market dynamics
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create compelling content, including articles, blog posts, and sponsored content
Cultivate brand advocates within the organization and empower them to share our merchant story through various channels
Work closely with external agencies and partners to scale storytelling efforts, manage deliverables, and ensure message consistency across channels
Establish measurement frameworks to evaluate the impact of external communications and optimize future initiatives based on performance data and industry benchmarks
Monitor and help the team address potential issues that arise
Internal Communications:
Support the development and execution of internal communication strategies that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the organization's merchant vision and business priorities
Coordinate and optimize internal platforms and communication channels to ensure transparency, foster collaboration, and drive effective information flow throughout the organization.
Ideal Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in corporate, finance, or B2B/merchant communications
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to convey complex financial concepts to various audiences
Experience working with executives and in collaborative environments
Track record of supporting successful thought leadership and external storytelling campaigns
Familiarity with current communications trends and a passion for businesses through innovative approaches

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is
$99300 to $216040
