You should be comfortable diving deep into technical architectures and requirements, be able to quickly identify solutions to challenges discovered during development, and ready to work with some of the latest cloud computing technology. Prior experience building stable, scalable, solutions is required. Prior experience with data mining, databases, or massively parallel systems is a plus. - Advise team and business partners
- Participate in feasibility analysis and design based on product requirements
- Plan, communicate, de-risk, and close-out software projects
- Design, develop, test, deploy large software projects- Solve complex software problems. Produce documented APIs, extensible services, well thought-out trade-offs
A day in the life
As an SDE in FO, you’ll work closely with some of the brightest software engineers, research scientists, and product managers to solve highly complex supply chain challenges. You will partner with talented teammates on designing the architecture, building the software, deploying and monitoring your solutions across the globe.Bellevue, WA, USA

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

- · MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- · 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- · Track record of ownership within global distributed services with high load, high availability requirements
- · Successful track record of mentoring and growing junior SDE's
