What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate closely with data scientists, consumer insights scientists, engineers, strategy partners, and our content teams to deliver insights through statistical modeling that drive key decisions.

• Develop measurement frameworks and statistical modeling frameworks in a mixed behavioral and survey context, to aid stakeholders in making complex, creative decisions.

• Be a strategic thought partner with stakeholders to define high-impact analytical problems and innovative ways to solve them with data.

• Drive product innovation through robust measurement strategies in experimentation, modeling, and analytics.

• Lead the design, analysis, and interpretation of experiments that shape the future of content analytics.

What We’re Looking For:

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Behavioral Economics, Mathematical Psychology, Cognitive Science, or related quantitative field.

• Strong statistical knowledge and intuition that you have used in building complex (Bayesian or related) psychometric models in human evaluation or related contexts.

• Several years of applied experience in an industry setting.

• Strong SQL skills and Quantitative Programming skills in Python or R.

• Ability to communicate technical and statistical concepts clearly and concisely among audiences at many different levels of technical depth.

• Self-starter who thrives under a high level of autonomy and who has the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle multiple priorities.

• Good judgment to balance between addressing stakeholder needs and investing in scalable solutions to serve general use cases. Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, and prioritize multiple experiments.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Enthusiastic about Netflix culture.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $170,000 - $720,000.
