In this role, you will:
Reporting into the Asia Operations Senior Manager, this role will be primarily responsible for leading projects across the Asia Operations team, including, but not limited to improving efficiency, system upgrades and enhancements, including global projects and remediation initiatives. This role will also be responsible for maintaining oversight of the management of operations procedures, accuracy of all record retention policy, including End User Computing Tools. There will be a requirement to provide insights and support of projects and initiatives that support the Line Of Business with services provided to customers within the region, that may require modification to current processes or implementation of non-standard processes.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to take ownership to lead and successfully implement the required outcome of each project and initiative. Through strong communication skills be able to obtain consensus of priorities and agreement, provide accurate and timely detailed progress updates, including highlighting any issues or concerns and providing recommendations to resolve.
- Lead identifed projects across Asia Operations Team and ensure their successful implementation
- Lead a change culture within APAC Operations, by identifying & implementing process improvements across all processes completed within the APAC, including leading automation project for identified processes
- Work collobratively with Governance Team to implement any new or refine existing Qualty Assurance testing programs and ensure that there are effective controls in place to mitigate/eliminate risk in manual processes that have been refined or implemented
- Support process owners with modification and/or implementation of manual and/or non-standard processes that are required to support the Line of Business with serivces required to support the expansion and growth of customers within the APAC region
- Continually seek out and implement enhancement of processes within APAC Operations team
- Take responsibility for ensuring maintenance of accuracy of record keeping, including offsite and local storage, electronic records and inventory of operating procedures and End User Computing Tools
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of BusinessExecution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 3 years’ experience gained within a Financial Services business, ideally with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role, such as a Team Leader
- High level of knowledge and understanding of Distribution Finance business and operating model
- Ability to demonstrate leading and successfully implementing projects/initiatives within required timeframe
- Strong analytical skills that are applied to researched data and present meaningful insights with thoughtful recommendations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Powerpoint, in particular Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, within tight timelines, with minimal supervision
- Be proactive with a high degree of flexibility and ability to work autonomously
- Accountable, taking ownership through to resolution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with all levels of team members within the business
- Experience at facilitating meetings with participants at various levels
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, with varying degree of complexity
- Experience of working in global company
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal
