We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agile Scrum Master at the Manager level. You will play a crucial role in guiding teams through the implementation of Scrum practices, ensuring effective project management, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
In line with client requirements you will already be living, or willing to relocate to Adelaide.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitate and support all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Act as a servant leader and coach for the Scrum Team, helping them to work together effectively and to continuously improve.
- Work with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well-maintained, prioritized, and visible to all stakeholders.
- Remove impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress and protect them from external interruptions.
- Foster an environment of collaboration, transparency, and commitment to delivery.
- Ensure metrics and project progress reports are communicated to stakeholders.
- Guide the organization in its Scrum adoption and in the scaling of Scrum across teams and departments.
- Lead and mentor other Scrum Masters in the organization.
Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.
- 4+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role, with at least 2 years at a managerial level.
- ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe, or similar certifications.
- Demonstrated experience in leading Agile transformation initiatives.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects using Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to improve their agility and deliver value.
- Proficiency in agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps and other similar tools.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ideal but not essential would be a consulting background.
