- Owning the design, development, and maintenance of scalable solutions for ongoing future looking analytical products, forecasting and prediction models, etc. to support the business needs.
- Translate basic business problem statements into analytical or data requirements.
- Use analytical and statistical rigor to answer business questions and drive business decisions.
- Use your expertise and knowledge of the business and its technologies to drive insightful discussions with customers and can anticipate and possibly influence their future requirements.
- Drive BI engineering best practices (e.g. Operational Excellence, code reviews, syntax and naming convention, metric definitions, alarms) and set standards for the team
- Make technical trade-offs for long term/short-term needs.
- Propose improvements to back-end data sources for increased accuracy and simplicity.- Lead technical solutioning and design the AIR's speed and yield management analytics strategy
- Evaluate end-to-end data designs for scalability, quality, and integrity
- Identify and recommend improvements to back-end data sources for increased accuracy and simplicity
- Drive BI engineering best practices (e.g. Operational Excellence, code reviews, syntax and naming convention, metric definitions, alarms) and set standards for the team

- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with AWS technologies
- 10+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
- Bachelor's Degree in statistics, data science, or an equivalent quantitative field
