Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall execution of the systems design, engineering, implementation, commissioning, and documentation of a project.

Assessment of customer site for installation and design requirements for incorporation into the project design documents as well as coordinating these requirements with the installation subcontractor.

Review incoming project documentation for impact to the Project Scope and Works Schedule and respond to these in coordination with the Project Manager.

Prepare design submittals and documentation as per stakeholder requirements, ensuring commitment dates are met. Work with the project stakeholders to ensure timely submittal approvals are received.

Execute Implementation work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.

Execute documentation work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.

Software load and Configuration of Honeywell Systems and other systems as required.

The configuration and programming of CCTV, Access Control, Security, PLCs and Third-Party Systems.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Service / Field technician / engineer servicing security/control system, and / or similar related.

Tertiary qualified (degree and/or trade with applicable licenses) advantageous.

Strong experience in building (Security / Access Control / CCTV / PLC) Systems including trouble shooting, fault finding and problem diagnosis.

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio).

Current unrestricted Drivers Licence.

Good knowledge of SQL and AutoCAD.

Knowledge of Microsoft platforms such as Windows 2016 and 2019 server, Windows 10 and related.

Strong analytical / problem solving skills with high level of attention to detail.

Intermediate to Advanced computer skills.

Previous experience working with highly complex electronic security/building management systems solutions.

Knowledge of networking, database technology and trends in IT would be highly advantageous.

Proven track record in a project engineering capacity involved in the delivery of large and complex technology-based projects.

Previous exposure to a site based, construction environment.
