Key Responsibilities
Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
Communicates with Supply Chain, Suppliers, internal drivers and external freight forwarders to optimize material transportation.
Prioritize escalations according to urgency and importance.
Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pick-up times
Review drivers logs, including dispatched calls and arrival times
Monitoring truck repairs, maintenance schedules, inspections and registrations
Keeping track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers comply
Other Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with Transportation Management Systems
MS products such as Outlook, Smartsheet, Excel
Commitment to safety and safe practices
Functional Knowledge
Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines

Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
