You will be tasked with solving critical software automation and verification problems in a distributed systems environment. Working with developers and other QA teams, you will become expert in system-wide testing and automation infrastructure. You ensure the exceptional performance of products used to deliver world's largest cloud based content delivery network.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure effective test coverage and automation.
- Creating and deploying automated system tests to replicate real-world scenarios and improve testing methodologies.
- Collaborating closely with QA teams, development, architecture, and product management to understand changes and identify necessary testing.
- Supporting team members, debugging issues, and participating in design discussions to create verification tests.
- Applying your knowledge of products, networking principles, protocols, operating systems, and databases to ensure effective testing.
- Maintaining and updating QA documentation, clearly defining test plans and cases with detailed steps and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Experience of 2 - 4 years and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in test automation tools and scripting languages, mainly Python, bash scripting.
- Demonstrate familiarity with architecture and expertise in assigned product areas.
- Possess understanding of networking principles, protocols and Linux operating system.
- Experience with internet technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS)
