What you`ll do

As Functional Expert (f/m/d) for our Finance Product Team, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and enhancing our solutions with a focus on development and AI integration. Join us in creating scalable, robust software to meet evolving business needs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into cloud-based architectural designs, incorporating AI solutions.

• Design and implement scalable software solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability in the cloud environment with an AI-driven approach.

• Drive cloud-based system architecture efforts, aligning with industry best practices and integrating AI technologies.

• Conduct regular code reviews, maintaining code quality, and mentoring team members in engineering and architecture practices.

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with agile software development processes (Framework Scrum, Kanban) or at least strong curiosity

• 5-8+ years of professional work experience as a Software Engineer/Functional Consultant/Architect

• Solid understanding of SAP Finance and/ or related business processes is mandatory.

• Test-driven development mindset and Experience with Programming skills in SAP environment (e.g. ABAP OO, RAP-Restful ABAP Programming, CAP-Cloud Application Programming) is much appreciated

• Knowledge in HANA, CDS (Core Data Services), SQL, SAP ODATA and Web based development skills like SAPUI5, Fiori, Java Script are a plus

• Fluent English language skills are mandatory, German language skills beneficial.
