Consistent with all jobs in Sports Marketing, solid communication skills, both written and verbal, will be foundational to the Lead Professional role. This person should also have string interpersonal skills, as this position is external facing, with athletes and stylists. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of both the fashion industry, and of Nike products, with a focus on Sportswear. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is adept at managing competing priorities quickly and efficiently and is comfortable managing through challenging situations.
You will serve as one of the key faces and first points of contact in leading athlete styling for the entire NA Sports Marketing team. You will work with key Sports Marketing stakeholders, and cross functionally, to deliver elevating styling executions, that align to Brand and Business priorities, for priority athletes and around key sports moments and Nike moments. You will manage an external styling team to deliver credible looks and other resources to key SM stakeholders. You will also manage communication with external stylists at events. Perhaps most importantly, you will drive proactive styling journeys for priority athletes focused on athlete moments and Nike moments.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITHYou will be reporting to the NA Sports Marketing Director of Athlete Experience, and you will partner closely with the entire NASM Athlete Experience Team. In addition, you will collaborate with other Sports Marketing stakeholders, Operations, Energy Marketing, and Brand Marketing. Establishing and maintaining cross-functional relationships will be critical to success.
