In this role, you will:
- Provide leadership in support of the Consumer Lending unsecured and small business banking products
- Analyze and assist with the approval of programs and policies with a measurable impact on the level of risk
- Identify and recommend opportunities for developing and implementing strategic initiatives and processes to drive the company credit culture, desire, and business performance
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding assessing and predicting risk and performance through business analysis and modeling of Credit Risk to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for measurable impact on the level of risk taken in credit activities with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Lead initiatives, analysis, and ongoing processes to drive credit culture, appetite, and business performance with input from senior leadership within a single function or line of business specific role
- Advise and counsel leadership
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers
- Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the function
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Interact with internal and external customers
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Credit Risk
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous Consumer Lending, Credit Card, Small Business Banking or Risk Management leadership experience
- Strong background in unsecured lending credit policy and underwriting guidelines preferred
- Demonstrated management experience building and leading a high performing and engaged team
- Demonstrated experience in quantifying operational program effectiveness and identifying and implementing strategies to effectively manage risk
- Demonstrated ability to use metrics and data to make decisions that drive results.
- Strong ability to identify potential industry challenges and opportunities in order to proactively assess and manage credit risk
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with proven ability to turn findings into executable plans
- Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key businesspartners/stakeholdersincluding senior management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior management and ability to articulate key messages around risk, issues, customer impacts, etc.
- Demonstrated change leadership skills with ability to lead through change impacts

Pay Range
$120,400.00 - $250,000.00
