• Installing/upgrading equipment

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Possess or in the last six (6) months of pursuing a two (2) year technical degree in a maintenance field in a private, public, government, or military industrial environment settingORhave 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
  

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• degree in Industrial Technology
• Strong knowledge and experience with PLC’s, inkjet printers, extrusion equipment, ovens, hydraulic presses,
• Possess a good knowledge of drive control, site HMI operation
• Experience installing, diagnosing and repairing, assembly and/or automated machinery in a manufacturing environment, robotics and automated equipment
• Strong background in electrical preventative maintenance as well as basic knowledge of electrical code covering laws of installation of electrical equipment; use test equipment, possess a good understanding for mechanical design & operation, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, lubrication, etc
