Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer ScienceOR related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience with cloud-scale build-out in complex software environments.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
  • OR related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with software development in cloud environments in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, and Go or Python.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience with cloud-scale build-out in complex software environments.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in threat modeling and secure development tools and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop prototype and production-grade solutions to support secure, efficient cloud build-out.
  • Design and develop prototype and production-grade solutions for secure software supply chain management and efficiency.
  • Leverage a broad and current understanding of security to devise new protections across the Azure stack.
  • Collaborate with Azure service teams to improve build-out efficiency and improve overall security state of Azure services.
  • Act as point of contact for organizational engineering build-out asks from peer teams.
