Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Financial Institutions business in APAC, ensuring alignment with global objectives and capitalizing on local market opportunities.
- Business Development : Identify and drive new business opportunities to expand the client base and enhance product offerings within the financial institutions sector across the region.
- Client Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banks and non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), including insurance companies, broker-dealers, asset managers, and fintech companies.
- Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of bankers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Risk Management : Implement robust risk management practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to internal policies.
- Financial Performance : Set and achieve ambitious revenue and profitability targets, driving financial performance and sustainable growth.
- Market Analysis : Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to inform and adapt business strategy.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in managing relationships with banks and NBFIs, including insurance companies, broker-dealers and fintech companies.
- Experience across the APAC region, with a deep understanding of the financial services sector.
- Capable of offering valuable insights and content to Treasurers and Chief Financial Officers of financial institutions.
- Demonstrated ability to originate and lead transactions.
- Exhibits leadership qualities, including strategic thinking and vision-setting for the team.
