Description
As an AirPlay engineer, you will be responsible for prototyping breakthrough ideas, developing features, contributing to systems design, analyzing performance in the foundations of AirPlay technology. You will build the future of AirPlay.To be successful in this role, you need to be versatile and able to thrive in a fast paced environment. You must be a team-oriented professional with excellent communication skills, excellent judgment, integrity and the ability to make timely and sound decisions. You must have strong technical and programming skills, and a solid understanding of multithreaded programming and programming on realtime systems. You have a background in Video or Audio technologies and have a good understanding of the various media formats. Experience with performance analysis and optimizations is a plus
Key Qualifications
  • Strong programming skills with C/C++.
  • Solid understanding of multithreading and concurrency fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Media Playback fundamentals, audio and/or video streaming
  • 3+ years industry experience
Education & Experience
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $243,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
