EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Bring in your experience with software/IT organizations as an IT Architecture or Enterprise Architecture Advisor and/or specific expertise with software solutions through Solution Management, Sales, Presales.
- Adoption/Consumption, Consulting or Business Development, demonstrating successful outcomes over multiple years.
- Follow and understand the market developments in the insurance industry in Switzerland and Europe.
- Lead key customer engagements in the insurance industry from an architectural perspective and become your customers' trusted advisors.
- Engage with C-level and other business stakeholders to understand business requirements, current and future business demand, and industry trends and define SAP's added value.
- Map SAP solution capabilities to the customer requirements.
- Guide customers in defining and implementing a transformation roadmap towards a common goal.
- Challenge the customer with new ideas, inspire, and generate demand.
- Present SAP and partner solutions and processes from an industry end-to-end view and apply high-level business process best practices.
- As key member of the account team, define and execute the account strategy based on business needs and incremental solution opportunities
- Build a strong network inside the SAP insurance industry community.
- Maintain and expand the partner network to define and manage joint go-to-market activities and customer engagements.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Minimum a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills in German and English , both written and spoken. Any additional business-fluent language skills in French and Swiss German are considered assets.
- In-depth knowledge of the SAP Solution suite, with an insurance background.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture management, methodology (e.g., TOGAF), and respective tools (e.g., LeanIX).
- Proven experience of driving tangible outcomes in Enterprise Architecture for customers.
- Functional leadership and project management experience is an advantage.
- Proven interpersonal and team skills at all levels, ideally in multicultural environments.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of SAP business strategy and solutions, partners, markets, and competition.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to de-escalate problematic situations .
- Open-mindedness and ability to quickly adapt to new requirements.
- Outstanding drive for execution.

WORK EXPERIENCE
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in presales, consulting, architecture, business development, and experience in various business functions within the insurance industry.
