What you’ll do

• This role will provide support to a variety of tasks related to the loanprocess
• Activities will include independently processing loans within a complex loan operations environment
• Be involved in providing day-to-day loan transactional processing which may include booking cash transactions and making payments, performing loan reconciliations, input of general ledger entries and (complex)calculations
• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how the team collectively integrates to contribute to achieving overall business goals
• Applies in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within department to resolve issues related to loan processes
• Responsible for escalating control gaps and issues to senior management. Identifies loan related control deficiencies and implements appropriate procedures and solutions to mitigate any risk or control losses
• Directly impacts the area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and formulation of procedures/process improvement
• Responsible for detailed analysis of loan related issues where the best course of action is not evident from the information available, but actions must be recommended/ taken

What we’ll need from you

• Reasonable knowledge of the Business Processes, Systems and Tools used in the Loan Servicing Process
• Demonstrate understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services
• General awareness of managing, preparing, and reviewing loan documentation
• Adequate ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues
• Awareness of risk types, policies and control measures and processes
• Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to Policies
