About the role
You will be responsible for strategically designing new features and connections in our Consumer experiences. You’ll lead a team and work with other product managers as well as engineering and design to build out and execute a product roadmap within the Consumer space. You will investigate data around our existing products and review where the largest opportunities may be to grow and expand our target audiences, manage request intake and feature scoping, and participate in agile ceremonies to drive the execution and launch of new features

Job Description:

In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming customer experiences within a specialized domain. You will work on the Venmo Debit Card, Deposits, and Money Management products within the larger Venmo team. We are leveraging technology and design to build best-in-class experiences for our customers to access and manage their money. You will help set the vision, identify opportunities, set goals, define experiences, and deliver features.

Your day to day:

  • Champion Customers: Building and executing on the product roadmap to create value and remove barriers for customers.
  • Learn Deliberately: Develop and execute learning plans to uncover customer needs, leveraging research, data, and insights.
  • Prioritize Diligently: Focus on fewer, high-impact initiatives to deliver quality outcomes efficiently.
  • Seek Truth: Design experiments and conduct research to validate hypotheses and improve customer experiences.
  • Execute Effectively: Lead a scrum team to bring product plans to life, delivering impactful solutions to our customers.
  • Be Accountable: Own the success and failures of product experiences, maintaining accountability for both customer and business results.

What you need to bring:

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent, with a preference for candidates with an MBA.
  • 8+ years of hands-on software product management experience, particularly in web and mobile applications.
  • Experience building a product roadmap and working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable impact is required.
  • Analytical experience, specifically in using Looker or other BI tools to drill down on insights and create solutions on data-informed hypotheses.
  • Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces
  • Experience in mobile consumer experiences or growth product management a plus
  • Experience in an agile development environment.
