, you will manage and maintain Linux-based systems and KVM hypervisors in a large-scale cloud infrastructure. Optimize system performance, conduct regular monitoring, and implement proactive troubleshooting measures. Configure and manage virtual networking, storage solutions, and security measures in a virtualized environment. Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.We are cultivating a, adhering to the motto 'You build it, you run it'. You will join the on-call rotation, sharing responsibilities with the rest of the PlusOne team to ensure continuous support coverage and demonstrate your commitment to the role.
In addition to a high level of commitment and reliability, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, you also bring the folllowing:

• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in virtualized environments.
• Proficient in various Linux distributions (e.g., Gardenlinux, CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL).
• Strong understanding of file systems, kernel tuning, and performance optimization in tuning and optimizing both the host and guest systems for optimal performance.
• Expertise in system monitoring and troubleshooting using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Zsh) and pyhon, golang for automation tasks
• Experience with libvirt for managing KVM environments and virsh command-line tool and libvirt XML configuration.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
