As a Ship/Rec Specialist - Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for managing the shipping and receiving operations at our Groveport, Ohio location. You will report directly to our Shipping and Receiving Manager and work on-site. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods in and out of the facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading trucks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate records.
• Ensure that all shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and documented according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues or delays in the shipping and receiving process.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring that all materials are stored in the appropriate locations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving operations
• 1 year of experience leading a team

• HS Diploma or Associate's degree in Logistics or a related field
• Experience with international shipping and customs regulations
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing ethics and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
