What you’ll do:
As a Cloud Network Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing network architectures that support multi-cloud environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and performance across various cloud platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in developing robust networking solutions that meet the dynamic needs of modern enterprises operating in multi-cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Architecture Design: Develop comprehensive network architectures for multi-cloud environments, considering factors such as scalability, redundancy, performance, and security.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement network monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify issues, assess performance metrics, and troubleshoot connectivity problems in multi-cloud environments. Collaborate with teams to resolve incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize network performance across multiple cloud providers by fine-tuning configurations, leveraging content delivery networks (CDNs), and implementing traffic management strategies.
- Automation and Orchestration: Develop automation scripts and templates to streamline network provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring tasks in multi-cloud environments. Implement orchestration tools to automate deployment workflows and ensure consistency across cloud platforms.
- Security Implementation: Implement robust security measures to protect multi-cloud networks from cyber threats, including firewall configurations, encryption protocols, access controls, and network segmentation.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure that multi-cloud network architectures comply with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to data privacy, security, and compliance. Implement governance frameworks to enforce policies and maintain audit trails.
- Cloud Integration: Design and implement network connectivity solutions to seamlessly integrate on-premises infrastructure with public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms.
- Vendor Evaluation and Selection: Evaluate networking technologies and vendors to find the most suitable solutions for multi-cloud environments. Conduct proof-of-concepts and make recommendations based on performance, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
