What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with staff across multiple departments to meet departmental expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
  • Use multiple systems and resources to ensure accurate and timely statements are received, logged, and managed.
  • Actively maintain data entry and royalty collection efforts across multiple income type groups, including, but not limited to, mechanical, performance, digital media, and synchronization.
  • Responsible for identification and recovery of unpaid or incorrectly reported earnings, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all financial records.
  • Assist with contract and financial receipts review.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests/projects.

  • Exceptional interpersonal relationship building.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and foster teamwork and unity within a department.
  • Solid understanding of copyright economics and industry standard accounting principles and practices.
  • A highly organized person that pays close attention to the details.
  • A clear and effective communicator.
  • Adaptable and proactive, applying your training to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Able to prioritize urgent requests, resolve conflicts, and manage multiple priorities while adapting to various timelines.
  • Advanced proficiency of Office 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.), with the ability to quickly learn how to work with large volumes of data (Power Query)
  • Experience in financial record-keeping and earnings collection is preferred
  • 3 or more years of income tracking, royalties, and/or other related experience required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • 7.5-hour business workday but variations in work volume may require extended working hours.
