Your impact
We are looking for a Construction Manager to join us and oversee planned projects located in Fort Wayne, IN. The employee will work alongside our local team of construction professionals to perform the following tasks:
- Observe and document field and construction activities primarily related to construction improvements of pipeline infrastructure.
- Communicate between contractor, owner/client, third parties, and engineering design team.
- Review submittals, specifications, and drawings.
- Maintain accurate and concise daily reports and project records, including record drawings.
- Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and can work in a fast-paced consulting environment with multiple deadlines.
- Drive ownership of health & safety in all aspects of project execution, office and personal environments.
Here's what you'll need
- 10+ years of on-site construction experience
- OSHA 10 Hour certification (course available for new hires)
- Team and relationship-building experience
- Client and customer service acumen
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Prior experience with similar qualifications noted above
- Knowledge of and experience with RFIs, construction documentation, change management systems, and claim procedures
