Responsibilities:
Learn and follow the engineering development process and acquire necessary skills.
Perform basic mechanical engineering tasks such as 3D layout, assembly, testing, and production support.Work with tooling vendors to ensure design for manufacturing.
Support and conduct engineering verification efforts, identifying and reporting defects via Jira.
Create and update mechanical documentation, including BOMs and 2D drawings, and manage their release.
Maintain a pool of commonly used parts.
Analyze problems using advanced tools.
Engage in on-the-job learning to become a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer.
