We are looking for a Traffic Engineer to be based in our Dublin or Belfast offices. You will work on local projects whilst also interacting with our colleagues across Ireland, The UK and globally. There is also the opportunity to take up a secondment role for a period of time with one of our key clients.
This role will allow you to pursue relevant business and technical training to support your career development as well as the freedom to grow your network and develop innovative solutions to chase new opportunities.
- A full time working week with Jacobs is 40 hours
- This role enjoys a Hybrid working pattern but does require 3 days per week based on site at one of the Jacobs locations highlighted above
- To be degree qualified in a relevant discipline (or equivalent)
- Experience in the transport planning field with the ability to contribute to the success of a range of high profile transport projects
- Working towards Chartered status or other relevant professional qualification e.g. Engineers Ireland, CIHT, TPP, CEng etc
- To be a creative, solution-oriented individual who considers multiple perspectives to identify different solutions
- A desire to develop your technical skills and the ability work independently in the field of Traffic Engineering
- Experience in the Traffic Engineering field with the ability to contribute to the success of a range of high profile transport projects, particularly in an urban environment _ active travel, cycle networks, mass transit and bus infrastructure
- Flexibility to manage a varied workload, assist with business opportunities and embrace new technologies, product solutions and the future evolution of the industry
