Job Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of deployment and automation tools, as well as design processes to improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of shared services in the SaaS environment. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to create a seamless process for code deployment and system management in production environments. You should have advanced knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies like cloud platforms, Containerization and Orchestration, Source Code Management, Continuous integration/Continuous deployment (CI/CD), and service monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure operations:
Work with existing cloud platforms and services scalable, highly available cloud-based infrastructure using tools like AWS, OCI, or GCP.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
CI/CD Pipeline Management:
Observability and Reliability:
Implement reporting and dashboards for observability into service uptime, configurations management and service auditing.
Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues in production environments.
Optimize systems for performance, cost, and scalability.
Security:
Integrate security best practices and policies into the DevOps process, ensuring that infrastructure and applications are secure by design.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and support incident response when necessary.
Collaboration and Mentorship:
Work closely with developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to improve software development life cycle processes.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
