DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will develop new features for Amazon MX Player, working with your engineering team, product managers, and UX designers to build products that delight our customers. You will own customer facing features through the entire life-cycle, from design, implementation, testing, deployment and into production. You will work to optimize applications for performance and reliability.Key job responsibilities

- Understand basic Algorithm fundamentals.
- Development of code in object oriented languages and build large scale robust distributed systems
- Eagerness to learn newer framework and ecosystems (eg. Android, IOS, React JS, NodeJsCandidates for this role must have:
- A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a BS or MS in CS or related field)
- Understanding of the tools of the trade, including an understanding of any of modern programming languages (Java / JavaScript / C/C++).
- Proven educational track record with sound data structure and algorithm knowledgeKey job responsibilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
