- Perform applied materials research into new metallic materials for emerging product design needs - Support failure analysis, material characterization, and material modeling activities across all product lines
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled in Bachelors/Masters/PhD studies in Material Science, Mechanical engineering or related field
Knowledge of physical metallurgy and basic design principles
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
Laboratory experience with metal alloys and structure-property relationships, including design of experiments and data analysis
Familiarity with computational thermodynamics and materials design, including machine learning approaches
Ability to work in fast paced, team-based environment
Interest in Apple and materials product design as a career after graduation
