Job Description:
Infrastructure Automation Services is seeking Software Development Engineer. This role requires a strong IT professional for application development for multiple infrastructure applications and systems. Possess strong analytical ability in solving IT problems, working towards automation, and elimination of systems and or process bottlenecks. The individual will be responsible for working on enhancements/modifications requests in the backend.
Experience with Java and UI development, and Python scripting, SQL query, System Analyst, web services, monitoring, documentation, change control, troubleshooting, Shell/PowerShell, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Standardizing and centralization. Build tools to achieve operational efficiencies and product insight.
- Utilize technical area expertise to assess, select, manage, and implement enterprise application components, and to ensure that the technical solution solves the business problem as an organic part of the organization’s operational and functional baseline.
- Support PM’s enterprise root cause analysis (RCA) processes in collaboration with operations teams.
- Capture technical information from the relevant stakeholders and synthesize it into useful information in various formats for senior management.
- Collaborate with project manager to enhance existing business applications and facilitate solutions to meet business requirements.
- Should understand Jira, bitbucket (git) and CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment.
- Technically own and manage the process of ensuring timely build of the various elements of the solution.
- Code, develop and test the requirements as per the specifications laid out.
- Integrating the APIs, debugging and testing on the MuleSoft platform (Anypoint Studio)
- Demonstrate proficiency with DevOps tools, JIRA and perform tasks using the tools.
Requirements:
- Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
- Experience range: 13+ years
Foundational skills:

Desired Skills:
- Experience with any of the tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory
- Experience in command line interfaces (CLI), third party APIs and integration.
- Basic Experience in server administration with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server
- Good understanding of developing fault tolerant solutions and knowledge in horizontal scaling and resiliency/HA.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and adapt to changes in project scope.
- Basic understanding of system, network, security and database operations, protocols, and industry standard technologies.
