The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services Operations (SMGS Ops) team is looking for a passionate, innovative, and results-oriented Software Development Engineer to help us build regionalization-focused, strategic products that support the AWS Sales and Marketing organization. These products will ensure that our systems and services enable the business to scale while meeting unique access control, security, and compliance requirements -- the opportunities are huge, and the impact is massive.Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)Key job responsibilities
* Automate and scale operations mechanisms that enable the business while maintaining high-bar data handling and compliance outcomes
* Design systems and solutions that enable business users and technology teams to operate more efficiently and effectively
* Work with both senior engineers and technical product/program managers to define, build, drive, and measure compliance outcomes across Sales and Marketing systems
* Leverage strong communication skills and a passion for using data and software to drive business decisions at scale

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
