The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Quality Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Oversees plant processes following Quality Assurance and Quality Control principles
  • Responsible for auditing to ensure ISO and Internal compliance
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians
  • Manages projects that impact cost/service, collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering
  • Provide regular updates to quality metrics
  • Interact with key customers
  • Direct contributor as part of the Site Leadership Team.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of Quality Management in automotive or aerospace a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Five (5) years of Quality Supervision in automotive or aerospace private, public, government or military environment
  • Strong communication, independent, strategic, problem solving

Work location:

  • On-site: Clarkston, GA

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
