Job Description

The Quality Engineer (QE) provides quality support to processes related to developing new solutions and improving quality systems and practices. This includes compliance with regulatory requirements and/or procedures, remediation of non-conformances, and developing and improving quality systems.

Your role:

  • Ensures that appropriate quality plans are made that include all stages of the life cycle of the solution and support Quality Plan design
  • Performs independent technical assessment on solution/service quality performance and post-market solution/service quality analysis
  • Uses post-market analytics and statistics to report on product quality performance in the field (provide feedback to manufacturing, suppliers, or design teams) and initiates field actions when required.
  • Frequently interacts with functional peer groups. Interaction typically requires the ability to gain the cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
  • Performs timely, quality tasks like assessing quality plans and solution/service designs, reviewing test and other performance data, analyzing market feedback, leading root cause analysis, and quality problem-solving.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science discipline
  • Ability to work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors
  • Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite products
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this .

The pay range for this position in (Cambridge) is $89,000 to $127,000

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
