Job Summary:
This role requires regular interaction with the US Onshore team, and other RM teams on day to day basis to understand business requirements and provide required solutions.
Your Technical Responsibilities:
- Understanding of relevant data protection regulations and compliance requirements, preferably with a focus on the US.
- Manage the process for responding to data access requests, handling inquiries related to data access
- Lead the incidents reported including investigation, review, and communication with affected individuals.
- Stay up to date on changes in data protection laws and industry’s best practices to ensure continuous improvement of the data protection programs.
- Prepare and maintain compliance reports. Communication with the application owners for detailed data classification.
- Assist with conducting privacy impact assessments and serve as the primary liaison with data protection authorities
- Learns and understands key requirements of firm, structure, business strategies and different regulatory RMS rules and policies
- Provides transactional compliance support for US Risk Management Team as per the laid down standards
- Ensures regular follow-up with the US onshore teams and assists with the process completion
- Liaisons between the different US onshore teams, risk management services team and other functional areas within the firm
- Adapt to the different databases and process steps to complete requests received
- Timely delivery of quality work and achieving the objectives set based on the determined process methodology
- Collaborate with the team and provide feedback for process improvements
- Pro-actively plan and prioritize daily tasks and keep the team informed of the status
