What the Candidate Will Do
- Actively seek, identify, and analyze data using a range of Uber data sets.
- Demonstrate solving for regional challenges and utilization of internal/external networks when needed.
- Lead cross-functional engagements with internal stakeholders on public safety matters.
- Work on-call/after-hours to assist the team's response to emergencies.
- Develop and manage strategic internal and external (LE) relationships at various levels including command staff (strategic) and line (operational) staff
- May take point on crisis management interactions with LE
Basic Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in LE subject matter expertise gained through a criminal investigative role within a policing or prosecution agency or private sector (as long as the private sector experience is not the sole source of experience).
- Technical investigative experience, ability to extract data and use technology to support an investigation
- Ability to run queries in SQL
- Native or advanced bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of Latin American local, state, and federal laws related to technology, privacy, data protection, and criminal violations
- Expert in technical lines of inquiry including communications, location data analysis, computer networks, databases, digital forensics, and/or relevant software tools used in investigations
