Job SummaryReporting to thethewill be responsible for keeping the production line running.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develops programs for machines manufacturing lines, following Engineering guidelines.
- Interpretation of mechanical and electronic drawings.
- Creation of process flows and documentation.
- Supporting different processes / projects.
- Writing reports and instructions for assigned processes.
- Presenting information and responding to questions from engineers and operations.
- Adjusts programs according to customers’ specifications and requirements.
- Maintains software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operationalspecifications.
- Trains technicians and operators on products, processes, and equipment.
- Contributes to and improves techniques/ concepts.
- Line change configuration.
- Performs corrective maintenance.
- Follows escalation procedures.
- Requires little to no instruction or supervision.
- Use of computer: Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) for daily activities
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires an Associate’s degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires 2+ years of related experience.
Preferable, but not required:
- Experience in PCB assembly manufacturing lines
- Experience with SMT process, programming, troubleshooting and technical support for machines: Screen Printer (preferable: MPM), solder paste inspection (preferable: Koh Young), Automatic Optical Inspection (preferable: Koh Young), Reflow oven, router, Selective solder, (preferable Ersa) Dispensing machines (preferable Asymtek)
- Demonstrates advanced technical skills which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees.
- Demonstrates broad knowledge of functional techniques and has input to process improvement. Applies new technologies and technological changes.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
