Key Responsibilities:
Design and development of mechanical parts include plastic injection molding tray, machining pallet, jig, fixture for SSD drive manufacturing, including conceptualization, prototyping, testing, and implementation.
Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes and equipment for better performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to integrate new technologies and methodologies into the manufacturing process.
Conduct thorough risk assessments for equipment designs and processes, implementing preventive measures to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
Manage equipment development projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in mechanical engineering and SSD manufacturing technology, incorporating innovative solutions into our operations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technicians.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Knowledge in plastic injection molding, sheet metal, jig or mechanical part, design or manufacturing field.
Profound knowledge of mechanical systems, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of enhancing manufacturing efficiency and equipment reliability.
Excellent project management abilities, capable of leading projects from conception through to completion.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
