Job responsibilities includes the following:

Support Telematics Application Framework (telAF), Telematics customer projects, support requests as system SW engineer, trainings, escalation mitigation.

  • Provide end-to-end system engineering & debug support for customer issues, field returns and launch blocking issues

  • Support actively OEMs in current and next generation development platforms, SDK, design architecture discussions & pre-sale engagements

  • Provide support for telAF which includes design discussion, trainings and issue debugging

  • Contribute to telAF documentation, user guides and application notes

  • Build strong relationship with customers (OEM/ODM/Tier-1/2s) and deep involvement in the technical execution of the projects

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5+ years Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

  • 2+ years experience with debugging techniques.

  • 3+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.*References to a particular number of years experience are for indicative purposes only. Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of industry experience in the following:

  • Telematics and Mobile products/markets

  • C/C++/Perl/Python programming on embedded real-time operating systems

  • Good wireless/embedded/SW/HW technical skills for initial triage of customer project issues and management

  • Knowledge of Legato Application framework

  • Knowledge on LTE/5G protocols

  • Linux development and debugging skills

  • Software debugging skills on embedded real time operating systems

  • Demonstrate expertise with tools and techniques used in embedded real time operation systems (JTAG etc.,)

  • The candidate is expected to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, high motivation, the ability to learn quickly, and must be a self-starter

  • Previous experience on modem protocol development areas is strongly desired

  • Experience with Qualcomm tools (QXDM, QCAT and etc)

Good degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.
